Effective Date: May 12, 2026

At Thr1ve Martial Arts Systems ("Thr1ve," "we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of visitors, members, and business partners across our digital ecosystem, which includes but is not limited to thr1ve.ca, Thr1veCommunity.com, and thr1veevents.carrd.co (collectively, the "Platforms").
This policy has been developed to comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and reflects our commitment to transparency and everyday resilience—not just in our physical practices, but in how we handle your digital footprint.

By using our Platforms, accessing our community hubs, or engaging with our business and workshop services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

1. The Personal Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide our services and fulfill our community mission. Depending on how you interact with our Platforms, we may collect the following:

Contact & Identity Information: Name, email address, phone number, and physical location when you inquire about private lessons, register for a workshop, or apply for our B2B Occupational Resilience programs.

Account Information: Usernames, passwords, and profile details created when you join the Thr1ve Community members' area.

Business & Media Data: Information regarding your business structure, branding assets, and specific media/photography consent forms when you utilize Thr1ve Business services (such as media vaults and branding support).

Financial & Sponsorship Information: Billing addresses and payment details when you process transactions, purchase bundled seats, or participate in our Pay-It-Forward sponsorship initiatives. (Note: Payment processing is handled by secure third-party gateways; we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.)

Technical & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and interaction data (such as pages visited or buttons clicked) collected via cookies to help us optimize the performance of our Carrd and web platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information
Under PIPEDA, we must identify the purposes for which we collect your data. We use your personal information to:
Deliver Services: Grant access to digital resources, facilitate online community hubs, and deliver customized media vaults.
Manage Events & Bookings: Schedule private lessons, organize local workshops, and coordinate corporate OHS team training sessions.

Facilitate Community Impact: Manage sponsorship tiers and allocate funding or workshop seats to local non-profits as part of our Pay-It-Forward model.

Communicate with You: Send important updates, newsletter copy, responses to inquiries, and relevant promotional materials (you may opt out of promotional emails at any time).

Improve User Experience: Analyze website traffic and portal navigation to refine our digital layout and ensure you find the tools you need quickly.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We only share your data under the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party platforms that assist us in operating our business, such as website hosting (e.g., Carrd), secure payment processors, and email communication software. These providers are strictly bound by confidentiality agreements and PIPEDA-compliant privacy standards.

Business Partners: With your explicit consent, we may share necessary details with co-hosts or partner organizations when you register for joint events or bundled workshop offers.

Legal Obligations: We may disclose personal information if required to do so by Canadian law, regulation, valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, and property of Thr1ve, our team, or the public.

4. Data Security and Storage
We take the security of your data seriously. We implement reasonable physical, organizational, and technological safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, or modification.
Data collected through our Platforms is stored on secure servers. While we prioritize Canadian-based hosting, some of our third-party service providers may process or store data in the United States or other jurisdictions. In such cases, your information may be subject to the laws of those respective countries.

5. Your Rights: Access and Correction
Under PIPEDA, you maintain control over your personal information. You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correct: Ask us to update or correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for us to collect or use your data at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), which may impact our ability to provide certain services to you.
